You must have good internet connectivity, a Garmin GPS device, a micro-SD card, and an Ethernet cable before you begin map updates on the Chromebook. The guidelines are-

• Link your device with the Chromebook through a USB cable.
• Download Garmin Express and install it.
• Now, install the updates.
• After free updates are installed, disconnect the Garmin device.
• Now install the Garmin Map Updates on the GPS device.
